If you don't mind me being selfish for a bit, after being out of the hospital for a week, my dad is back in again. His treatments were over quite a few weeks ago, but he kept getting persistent high fevers, so he had to stay until they found out what they were. A surgery or two later, and with the problem unresolved, he was home again.
Till he got a fever of 106 on Thursday, and was sent back in again.
So there goes Father's Day.
Of course, he's on permanent disability now, this being year two of his battle with the cancer, so he's not missing any work.
