Google Scholar/Books makes me happy.

Because it makes research for school so much easier. It's a lot easier to settle on a source when you can write down the subjects you'll be using in your outline, and then after searching for sources for one subject or subtopic, search again with another subject/subtopic. You can note down which sources show multiple times. (i.e., they have the info you need for more than one subject/subtopic) which is a lot easier than having 15 subtopic and 17 sources.Much easier to have 15 subtopic and 6 or 7 sources,or at least that's how I do it.

But I am not, nor have I ever been, will be, or have the desire to be a scholar.

A AE AE AM A AE ARUM IS AS IS..

I O UM O I ORUM IS OS IS.

Those are the first and second declension endings. In other words, my Latin midterm is tomorrow.

Oh yes, and I've lost all my confidence in passing now, having found that of the pages of study material I went over and copied, the practice quizzes I did and re-did, and the chapters I read, none of that information was on the test.

ASDFJKLASDFJKL;!

Midterms.

They do not contribute to my happiness.

That is all.

Oh Shoot.

Well, I found the managas that I want to read. (They're on mangafox) only, I do not remember what chapter I last read. I mean, I remember everything that happenned in those chapters, but I don't know what pages numbers of chapter numbers they were. Maybe I should go on Crunchyroll and ask in one of the groups I'm in.

Speaking of which, I loooove Crunchyroll. It's like a website version of Attack of the Show.* Anyway, I have midterms this week, and I have a lot to study. I have to go over first and second declension in Latin, the first three chapters of the history book, everything in the first nine sections of the catechism, and luckily, that's it. The algebra teacher sets the year up so that there are no midterms or final, but a cumulative test at the end of every quarter. And you can't really have a test for English composition. (Or at least that's what the teacher says.)

Oh My.

In Western Civ. , the book we're using is a standard college textbok for this class. Or least, it's supposed to be. And if it is, I'm very very depressed about the state of American education, because it gives phonetic pronunciations for words they think students might not be familiar with.
Words like "Athens", and "Aristophanes","Pericles","Socrates",etc. These were words and subjects that I learned of in tenth grade.

Yet it is that they suppose that American students won't have heard of these yet.

America is doomed, I called it. Idiocracy is our future.*

*Look up "Idiocracy" if you've never heard of it.

You know that I hate?

When you work hard on an assignment and stay up late, only to find that the assignment is due on a different date, and that you actually should have been doing some other assignment that was due that day. XP

ENGLISH.

I'm currently Cliff Noting Reading The Odyssey for English composition. I vaguely remember reading it before, but just for fun, not for school. I only got about halfway through before boredom took over and I left off reading it. There's some sort of journal on it due on Tuesday, but I have another book of it to read before I get working on it.

Great!

So apparently, my computer refuses to allow me to install any printers on it! Thanks computer! You just screwed up my homework for who knows how many days!

WHAT?! WHAT?!

WHAT!?
I was watching the last ten minutes of Fox29, the local news station, and what do I see? Sue Serio is at a school. Not just any school, the school where my mother works. For real. And she did'nt tell us. I wish that I had watched the whole thing, because It would have been so awesome to see if they came to my mother's class. Somehow, she didn't tell us about this. There's no way that she didn't know about this. This kind of thing does'nt just spring up on you at school the way they decide to change the brand of copy paper at the front office.

Wow, I have'nt looked at this in a long while.

The comic I drew for a senior scripture study project. It's never been inked, only done in pencil, it was'nt cleaned, I did'nt draw a cover, and there's no screentone. But it's okay.

I'd like to finish it, but the teacher loved it so much that he asked to keep it as an example of wht kind of recreation it's possible to do. I was touched, but reluctant to let it go. I never give people the originals of my work, I let them have a printed copy, but he wouldn't settle for anything less than the original. So I scanned those up quick at school and said goobye to my beloved manuscript.

It's Today.

My high school graduation is in four hours.

New Game:King of Fighters XI

Yes, I'm years behind on this francise, sue me. But I like it already. I've only had it, what, three days now? I've already decided to draw some charaters: Malin, Shingo, and She. You cn do a google image search if ou wat to know what they look like.

Oh yeah, my latest masterpiece is nearly doe. You know, the maga based on the book of Jonah? I'm just doing the cover, credits ad mini-comics. ad it seems that mr. letter 'n' on my keyboard is broked too. So I'm up to four broken letters. I guess I know what my graduation gift is going to be?

And speaking of graduation, how lame is it that we have to return the cap and gown? I mean, it's not like they can reuse the tassel. But then, they're probably re-used 06' tassels anyway. *Rants for 40 miutes on the stupidity of returning used dated tassels.*

DONE.

It's done. It's finally done! No more research! No more typing! No more note cards! This term paper is done! All ten pages, 120+ notecards, bibliography, bib cards, notes and citations, rough draft, it's all done.
This paper ruined so much of my life. I forgot to change the cat's litter on Tuesday, I had to buy computer paper rather than lunch a while age, and I missed the Mets game because I had to hurry up and type my last five pages.
Now, because we're all going to die, I'm going to get those masks I bought during the anthrax and SARS outbreaks.

Proof of my Awesomeness.

Today I wrote six pages of my ten-page research paper on eugenics with citations and footnotes included.
It only took me about 30 minutes.
Note cards and thesis are done, but I think I misnumbered my bib cards.

DONE.

All my note cards are done. Now, I have to finish writing the rough draft. I'm going to have go back a few pages and add citations, since I forgot to.

On School.

I've applied to a couple schools, just in case this vocation thing doesn't work out. The Academy of the Arts in San Francisco just called me back today, the University of the Arts in Philly never got back to me, and I missed auditions at both Curtis* and Oberlin. That's pretty much all I checked out.
When I still figured I could get into a high class school, I checked out Eastman at Rochester , but really now, Rochester? In the Rochester diocese? home of the bishop of Rochester? Who bult a pagan-looking labyrinth in his cathedral and tore out pretty much anything that was beautiful? Which made the cathedral's attendence go down sharply? Go there?
Only under holy obedience would I go there.
That's only if the vocation thing does;nt work out though, so I might be spared the fun of being told why everything I've learned about blending and voicing choirs is wrong, and that Virgil Fow is wrong.
About everything.
See This? It's Virgil Fox, therefore it's wrong according them.**

*I know, someone like me getting into Curtis? It's a joke so sad that even I can't laugh at it. Well, maybe just a little bit on the inside.

**Don't know why, I think Virgil Fox Is awesome. Probably jealous 'cause they never got a cult following with hordes of fangirls and fanboys round the world.

I knew I forgot something.

I forgot to tell dad that tuition was due. This is the, what, fourth time? Looks like I'm stuck home. Darn, we were just getting started on answering our grammar questions and Kennedy's book.

WOW.

I just finished reading The Hobbit. Wow, now that is an adventure story. Modern fanfics/excuses for literature pale in comparison. Sad aboutThorin and Fili and Kili though, and I probably would'nt have hidden/secretly traded the Arkenstone like Bilbo did.
I neead MOAR!!11!!one!!1
Why don't most school use real literature like this in English/Lit. classes?
