Anyway, it's my 19th birthday today, and this year, and good news is that I'm not spending in the hospital! Bad news is that my dad is! Irony of ironies , huh?
I've got a good amount of birthday money, and I should be going downtown later today. I need to replace that marker that dried up, and get another pack of manga paper. I wish Blick carried Deleter, but I think you can only get that by import, so it's out of the question. I might go to Atomic City to pick up some back issues of something I've been reading. Fat Jack's definitely has a better selection, but I only read about four western comics, so I'm not knowledgeable enough to go there. It'd be wrong.
And speaking of comics, I read volume six of Fairytail, but without reading volume five. Stupid, I know. I'd read it on Onemanga, but I don't know which chapter I left off on. I also don't know what chapter I last read in Eyesheild 21. I know it was volume 24 that I last read. Lastly, I'll stop by Borders and see if they have the volume of Kateikyo Hitman Reborn where Ryoei first showed up. This one is the opposite of wat I usually know, because I know he shows up in chapter 14 but I don't know what volume that is. Random: There are very few good free wallpapers for my* computer.

Another heads-up note.
I just got back from practice for Maundy Thursday. It will be a full solemn mass with a torchbearers at the elevation, other servers 'in choro', the music previously indicated, etc.
This is the Big point: Like at the patronal festival, it will be celebrated Ad Orientem
( AKA versus Deum AKA with the back to the people. )
Good development. I hope someone will be there to take photos, as I'll be second thurifer (There are three thurifers in the procession to the Altar of Repose) If you want to take photos, just go up to the choir loft before mass and Mr. Bradford ( our choir-master) will be glad to accomodate you. Just know that you'll be receiving communion with the choir.

Do you know what today is?!

It's the 12 anniversary of my baptism. Yep, 12 years ago today, I was baptised at a little Pentecostal church in West Philly on 52nd street. I would have never guessed where I would go in my relationship with God. A flout with atheism, an attraction to Catholicism, a flight to Anglo-Catholicism, finally deciding to suck it up and go all the way by throwing my way with Rome. In a month, I'll be celebrating by first anniversary as an official real Catholic. I don't know how I'll do it. If my Catholic friends were'nt all college kids, I'd probably go to Chuck E.Cheese a pizza place and then go bowling . Or, as it seems most modern Catholic authorities do, I'll transfer it to a Sunday and after a Trid mass, do the above but with bowling or movies and sung vespers at the end.
Oh well, I'll probably just watch some Kikkaider and have a soul food feast, home cooked by mom dad and I.

Random question: What's with BWV 531?
